Why It Exists

Most SEO Advice Fails at the Evidence Step

We run SEO campaigns for clients, and the same conversation starts almost every engagement: someone knows their site is underperforming, but nobody can say precisely why. Search Console reports that impressions are flat. A speed test returns a number with no context. A checklist explains what matters in general, which is rarely the same as what matters here. The gap is not a shortage of advice — it is a shortage of evidence about one specific site.

That gap gets wider now that anything can be generated on demand. Ask a language model to assess a domain and it will produce an assured, well-written report about a site it has never fetched. The prose is excellent. The findings are invented. Acting on them costs real developer hours on problems that may not exist, and — worse — leaves the actual problem untouched.

So we built the tools we wanted internally, and made them public. The design rule is one line long: collect the data first, then let AI read it. Every score, metric and volume figure on this suite is observed from a source that can be checked. AI is used where it genuinely helps — clustering hundreds of keywords into themes, explaining a Core Web Vitals failure in plain English, ordering twenty findings by likely impact against implementation effort — and nowhere else.

If a tool cannot measure something, it says so rather than estimating. That is why you will not see a fabricated backlink count or an invented domain authority score anywhere in this suite.

Workflow

How the Four Tools Work Together

Run them in this order and each one narrows the question the next one answers.

Audit your site first

Start with AI Website Audit Pro. There is no point chasing new keywords on a site that loads in six seconds, blocks its own pages with a stray directive or ships duplicate titles from a template. The audit scores five categories and hands back a ranked fix list, so you know whether the foundation is sound before you spend anything on content.

Find the opportunities worth taking

With the foundation fixed, Keyword Research Pro turns a seed term into hundreds of variations carrying real monthly volume, a difficulty score and an AI-tagged intent label. Intent is what stops the classic mistake of writing a buying-guide page for a query where every ranking result is a definition — matching the format the searcher expects usually matters more than the volume figure.

Measure yourself against the sites already ranking

Keywords do not exist in isolation — something is already ranking for each one. Competitor Comparison runs the same measured checks across your site and up to three rivals and prints the results side by side, which converts a vague sense of being behind into a specific gap on a specific metric that you can close.

Decide what to publish next

Finally, the Content Gap Finder crawls a competitor and your own domain, extracts the topics each one actually publishes, and reports what they cover that you have never touched. Because the topics are read from live pages rather than imagined, the output is a publishing queue you can start on the same day.

The loop closes: after you publish and fix, re-run the audit and the comparison. The change in the numbers is your evidence that the work landed, which is the part most SEO programmes never actually verify.

Under the Hood

Exactly Where Each Number Comes From

Published in full, because a tool that will not name its sources is asking you to take its word for it.

Who It Is For

Built for People Who Have to Show Their Working

Small business owners

You are the marketing department. You need to know whether your site has a real problem before paying anyone to solve it, and you need the answer in plain English rather than a scorecard of acronyms.

Content teams and freelancers

You need a defensible reason for every brief you write. Volume, difficulty, intent and a competitor gap turn "I think we should cover this" into a case a client will sign off on.

Developers and agencies

You want the finding, the affected URL and the change to make — not a lecture. Reports export cleanly, so a ticket can be raised straight from the output.

Founders validating a niche

Before building a content engine, find out whether demand exists and who already owns it. An afternoon here is cheaper than a quarter of publishing into a topic nobody searches.

People learning SEO

Every result explains why it matters, not just what it is. Pair the tools with our marketing guides and the theory attaches to a site you actually care about.

Anyone outgrowing spreadsheets

If your current process is a tab of keywords and a memory of what a speed test said last month, this replaces it with something repeatable and comparable over time.

Looking for calculators, converters and writing utilities instead? Those live in our free marketing tools library. If you would rather hand the whole programme over, our digital marketing services start from exactly this kind of output.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these SEO tools really free?

Yes — every tool on this page is free to start and runs without an account, a card or a plugin. Usage limits keep the underlying data APIs affordable to run, and paid tiers are planned but not launched, so nothing here is a trial that expires on you.

Where does the data actually come from?

From measurable sources, not from a language model. Performance metrics come from the Google PageSpeed Insights API. On-page elements come from parsing your live HTML. Certificate and DNS results come from real connections to your server. Keyword volume and competition come from the Google Ads Keyword Planner API, and suggestion lists come from platform autocomplete endpoints. AI reads those numbers, clusters them and explains them — it never produces them.

Which platforms are covered for keyword data?

Google is the primary source, with suggestion data also pulled from YouTube and Bing autocomplete. Amazon keyword data is not available here, because Amazon exposes it only through a paid API we do not currently license. We would rather say that plainly than publish estimated numbers and call them Amazon volume.

Do I need to use all four tools?

No. Each one answers a complete question on its own. They are built to chain, though: an audit tells you whether your site can compete technically, keyword research tells you what to compete for, the comparison tool tells you who you are competing against, and the gap finder tells you what to publish next.

Will running these tools affect my site or my rankings?

No. Every tool is read-only. Pages are requested the same way a browser or a search engine crawler requests them, robots.txt is obeyed where crawling is involved, and nothing is ever written to your site, your server or your analytics.

How do these compare with paid platforms like Ahrefs or Semrush?

Those platforms maintain enormous proprietary link and ranking indexes, and for large-scale rank tracking and backlink analysis they remain the right purchase. These tools cover a different job: getting a real, evidence-backed answer to a specific question in a couple of minutes without a subscription. For most small and mid-sized sites that is the work that actually gets done.

Start With the Question You Actually Have

If you do not know where the problem is, audit the site. If you know the site is fine and need something to write about, start with keywords. Both are free, both take about a minute, and neither asks for an account.
