Saved resumes

Saving is an optional extra on top of the free resume builder. With a free account you can keep several named resumes on your account, reopen them from another device, and turn on a read-only link to send to someone. Without an account the builder still does everything else — your work stays in your own browser, and PDF, Word and image downloads are free and unwatermarked either way.

Sign in to see the resumes on your account, or create one in about twenty seconds.

Before you save anything, in plain English
  • Saved resumes are stored on our server. The contents — your name, contact details and employment history — go into our database, linked to your account. That is what makes them reappear on another device. If you would rather that never happened, do not create an account: the builder keeps everything in your own browser instead.
  • Deleting means deleting. Deleting a saved resume removes the row from the database and takes any share link for it offline at once. There is no archive copy.
  • Share links are off by default. Nothing you save is public unless you turn sharing on for that resume. Shared pages carry a noindex tag and are kept out of our sitemap, so they should not turn up in search results — though anyone you send the link to can pass it on, so treat it like a link to a private document.
  • Still free. No payment, no trial, no watermark, and nothing in the builder is locked behind the account.
