Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training is the industry reference, covering working at height, first aid, manual handling and fire awareness, with rescue and technical modules added by many employers. Refresher intervals apply, so dates matter. OSHA 10 or 30 General Industry is common, and electrical safety, lockout/tagout and confined space training are set by regulation and employer procedure. Some owners require their own platform-specific qualification before unsupervised work.

Describe the work in the units the trade uses: square footage, linear feet, tonnage, service calls per day, machines run, crew size.
