Arbsbuy Marketplace is committed to maintaining a safe, honest, and respectful community. These Community & Review Guidelines explain what customers and sellers may and may not do when posting reviews, interacting with one another, or contributing content to the platform.

1. Purpose of These Guidelines

These rules exist to:

  • Protect buyers from misleading or fake reviews
  • Ensure sellers receive fair and accurate feedback
  • Maintain a respectful and trustworthy marketplace
  • Prevent spam, harassment, or manipulation
  • Ensure all reviews follow legal and community standards

2. Who Must Follow These Guidelines?

These rules apply to:

  • Customers leaving product reviews
  • Sellers responding to reviews or communicating publicly
  • Affiliates and promoters
  • Any user submitting public content

Violations may result in content removal, account warnings, or suspension.

3. Allowed Reviews (What You *Can* Post)

Customers may post reviews that are:

  • Honest and based on real experience
  • Relevant to the product purchased
  • Accurate regarding quality, shipping, or customer service
  • Respectful and non-abusive
  • Helpful for future buyers

Photos and videos of the received product are encouraged.

4. Prohibited Reviews & Community Behaviors

The following are strictly prohibited:

4.1 Fake or Manipulated Reviews

  • Reviews for products not purchased
  • Reviews written in exchange for money, discounts, or gifts
  • Sellers creating fake self-reviews
  • Fake negative reviews on competitors’ listings
  • Affiliates manipulating ratings for commission

4.2 Harmful or Abusive Content

  • Profanity, threats, or insults
  • Harassment of sellers or buyers
  • Discriminatory remarks
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Hate speech or political attacks

4.3 Irrelevant or Misleading Reviews

  • Reviews unrelated to the product
  • Complaints about unrelated issues (postal delays, customs, personal bias)
  • Reviews based on misunderstanding of product specifications
  • Posting intentionally misleading or false information

4.4 Privacy Violations

  • Posting phone numbers, emails, or personal data
  • Sharing screenshots of private conversations without consent
  • Doxxing sellers, buyers, or staff

5. Seller Responsibilities When Responding to Reviews

Sellers must behave respectfully and professionally when engaging with customers.

  • No arguing or fighting with customers
  • No threatening legal action for negative reviews
  • No asking customers to delete reviews in exchange for compensation
  • No revealing customer private information
  • No blaming customers for issues caused by seller negligence
  • No dishonest replies or excuse-making

Sellers who violate these rules may face penalties under the Vendor Agreement.

6. Review Moderation & Removal

Arbsbuy reserves the right to remove or restrict any content that:

  • Violates these guidelines
  • Is fake, deceptive, or manipulated
  • Contains abusive or offensive language
  • Includes personal data
  • Attempts to damage a seller or competitor unfairly
  • Promotes illegal or harmful content
  • Is posted by a banned or fraudulent user

7. Appeals & Disputes

If a seller believes a review is fraudulent or violates guidelines, they may request investigation.

  • Sellers must provide evidence (tracking, screenshots, customer chat logs)
  • Arbsbuy may remove or modify the review if it breaks rules
  • Not all requested removals will qualify

8. Content Ownership & Rights

By posting reviews or media, users grant Arbsbuy the right to:

  • Display the content publicly
  • Use it for marketing or educational purposes
  • Share it with sellers for quality improvement

Arbsbuy will never sell or misuse customer review content.

9. Community Etiquette

All users must follow these general rules:

  • Be respectful and constructive
  • Avoid offensive language
  • Share honest and useful feedback
  • Treat others with fairness and professionalism
  • Avoid arguments or personal attacks

10. Violations & Enforcement

Consequences for breaking these guidelines may include:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary posting restrictions
  • Account warnings
  • Permanent community ban
  • Suspension of seller listings
  • Termination of seller accounts

Severe violations may lead to legal action if necessary.

11. Updates to This Guideline

Arbsbuy LLC may update these rules to improve community safety and marketplace integrity. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
